and DJ Gavin Hardkiss has a long history of influencing dance
music with his releases on Sunburn, Six Degrees, Moonshine,
and, of course, his own renowned Hardkiss label. Love
Won Another, Hawke's third full length album, harks back to an
ambitious time of Balearic beats and dreamy, melodic indie
dance production. Moving vocals singing hopeful lyrics combined
with worldly (and often Latin-tinged) musicianship just add
to the uniqueness of this effort. Uplifting tunes for a not-so-uplifting
time and a brilliant contender for a perfect ‘summer

home in the sunshine we are finally ready to bring it all to the
web. When we began the label in July of '94 no one thought it would
